Bayerische Motoren Werke Aktiengesellschaft and BMW of North America, LLC settled on defective timing belts or oil pumps that caused the engine to shut off or destroyed the engine completely. You have until March 18, 2021 to file a claim by submitting proof of ownership or prior ownership of an applicable vehicle. You can claim the expense of replacing the defective timing or oil pump module or the cost of replacing the engine if you can prove that the engine was damaged by the defective parts depending on where and how the repairs were done, at the dealership or in a third-party garage.
 

American Honda Motor Company Defective Transmissions

The Los Angeles California Superior Court ruled that you're entitled to the cost of your replaced transmission module or a new transmission module if you own or owned a 2003 or 2004 Honda Accord, a 2002 to 2004 Honda Odyssey, a 2003 or 2004 Honda Pilot, a 2001 or 2002 Acura, or a 2003 Acura 3.2 TL or CL Type S with specific vehicle identification numbers. You will be reimbursed in full for your replaced transmission if you have documentation that shows the date, time, and location of the repairs.
